Cute and Comfortable Shoes- Yes, It’s True
Contrary to popular belief, you can find cute and comfortable shoes.
And no, we’re not referring to flats-which are not necessarily comfortable. It is actually ideal to get a good arch support. Look at the angle -where it connects with the side of the shoe. It should be closer to a 45 degree angle rather than 90 or there should be a decent amount of arch support built into the sole. Another key element to consider is good padding. The sole shouldn’t be rigid and flat, but rather squishy, especially at the heel and ball of the foot. It should be shaped to your arch, rather than laying as flat as a pancake.
As for heels, chunky or wedged platforms are much more comfortable than stilettos. Getting the correct width is important too. If you have skinny feet, you won’t get enough support in wide frame shoes. “Dansko”, “Privo”, “Farylrobin” and “Jitterbugbaby” are some comfortable and ideal shoe brands that usually adhere to the rules we’ve outlined. Some cute and comfortable shoes this fall include heeled loafers and wedge ankle boots. Laced-up or buckled wedge booties, are always super trendy.
Stacked Heels are stomping full force into this season and whether you like ankle boots, cowboy boots, wedges or pumps, there’s a stack-heeled equivalent available in stores right now.
So go forth, look cute, and walk comfortably!
